■ Synopsis ■

Your life in a seaside city has been peaceful but dull—until an infamous, wealthy samurai suitor approaches you 1 day and asks for your hand in marriage. As a wedding gift, he gives you a magnificent black pearl necklace. After your father dies of a sudden illness, distant relatives eagerly arrange the union, despite your misgivings.

When an impressive vessel, the Narukami Trade Ship, docks in the port on the morning of your wedding, you realize you have 1 possibility to escape. You chop your hair, don male attire, and set sail in search of freedom and a fresh life...

However, small do you know that this "merchant vessel" is also flying false colors. It's actually a pirate ship belonging to the infamous Minakami Kaizoku, a guild of seafaring fighters called the lords of the sea. These deadly, rich rogues plunder and raid wherever they sail, and their ship strikes fear into the hearts of any she approaches.
